Hello everybody!

I have an annoying problem with Studio 2017: I've received a return package from a translator. When I try to verify the file, I get this error message: "Failed to verify document: An item with the same key has already been added." I've already searched for a solution in this forum and found nothing similar. Also I created a new project and imported the project TM from the old project, but when I try to verify I get the same error message. I would really appreciate any help! Thank you in advance!

Thank you very much for your quick reply! Yes, there is a termbase attached to the project. When I remove it, the verification runs without problems. Do you a workaround to solve this problem?

I think it might be related to this issue:

gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge

Can you recreate your termbase as described and then try again? If you need some help with that I can take a look at it for you. You can email your sdltb to pfilkin@sdl.com

Thank you for your help last time! This problem has occurred again. Your workaround works but it it is time-consuming and complicated. Is there may be a new solution for this problem? Also it doesn't really seem to be pure termbase issue. It seems to be connected to a certain project. Once when I had this problem in one project, I tried to run verification with a different termbase and still I received the same error message. Then I run verfication in a different project with the same "faulty" termbase and it has worked without error messages. So is there may be a better solution or may be a global solution to get rid of this bug? Thank you in advance!

Hi Veronika Orazalinova ,

I think the first thing you need to do now is upgrade if you haven't. The original stack trace shows you were not on SR1 so I think you should do this first as there have been a lot of fixes for all kinds of things between your version and the current ones which are these:

SDL Trados Studio 2017 SR1 - 14.1.6413.8
SDL MultiTerm 2017 SR1 - 14.1.2471.5

In that case I think you should log a case. For licensing or installation issues that prevent you from working we have a route for all customers to get help. This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

gateway.sdl.com/liveagentlicensing

You have two options:

1. Submit a case using a webform
2. Use live chat to get a licence reset

You want to use the first option and make sure you explain what you have tried already, and point them to this thread.
