Does anybody like the "Revert to SDLXIFF" feature?

Personally I would like to see "Revert to SDLXIFF" removed and never switch to the generated file in the files view.
When you run "Generate Target Translations" it already asks you "Would you like to open the folder containing your exported documents", so the ability to open generated documents in the files view seems unnecessary. I was wondering if anybody finds it useful?

    I really have no idea. I can recall questioning this in 2009 and I seem to recall it had something to do with archiving, or setting a Project as complete. At the time I was too inexperienced to question it more, but in all that time I have never seen any value in this and only had to explain to people why some things didn't work because they needed to "Revert to SDLXLIFF". My guess it was probably a Trados mindset of some sort, maybe related to Bilingual DOC and BAK files in some way... but I would be completely guessing.
