Split & Merge for Studio 2017

Is there any news on when the Split & Merge add-on will be available for Studio 2017? Regards, Lieven.

None at the moment I'm afraid. The best workaround I can suggest and it's not exactly the same, is to use the SDLXLIFF Toolkit to split up the file and then just pre-translate the original when you have all the parts back. 
 
In some ways more reliable as you don't have to worry about trying to piece the files together again.
