TM Updates in Project Templates

Question

If I created a project template and inserted a TM, how can I update it or is it updated automatically after submitting each project?

No. As you work you confirm your translations don't you? This action of confirming should be updating the TM.

Your Project Template is just a way of easily pulling in consistent resources to suit the needs of each job. As you work you will be updating the TMs in that template so when you use the template next time it should be upto date already.

Just one thought I should have mentioned. If you are using Project TMs when you create your projects then this could be a reason for you not thinking that the TMs in your Project Templates are not updated. If you do work with Project TMs then after the translation is complete and reviewed you should run the "Update Main Translation Memory" batch task. This is because when you work with Project TMs you are in effect creating a new TM that is updated as you work so that you only update the Main TM when everything is done.
