Studio 2017 Keeps on freezing and crashing

Question

Hello, 
 I have made the upgrade from Studio 2015 to 2017 and unfortunately since I did the 2017 version keeps on freezing and crashing a few minutes after launching it. 
 Could someone help me with this issue?

Hi Marcelle, 
 
Can you first of all check you have the latest SDL Studio 2017 update installed please as you activated your license before the release- 
 community.sdl.com/.../9748 
 
Once you have ensured the software is up to date, then the following should help 
 community.sdl.com/.../6408 
 
Also quite often its is your Antivirus that causes all sorts of issues - so i suggest shutting down all your other applications- deactivating your AntiVirus 
Running a Windows update/Studio /Multiterm update (if needed) then rebooting and looking to see if problems are fixed.
