Line length in multi-line strings

Question

I need to limit the number of characters a translator can enter per line in the following: Keilrippenriemenscheibe mit
Freilauf und Schutzkappe The attribute linelen gives the maximum number of characters per line. Each line ends with
and a line break. Can anyone suggest a way to do this in Studio?

 ok - I was concentrating on the length issue. To solve this one it's fairly simple, just add an inline rule for the break tag:

I don't think so based on your example. The settings file I gave you will check variable lengths based on the content of the linelen attribute. So if you check the document structure information for each segment where there is a restriction you'll see something like this:

This value is used in the QA check for every segment.
