Hello,
I am trying to change American format dates (ie: 12/15/23) to a particular French format (ie: 15.12.2023) (after I copied source to segment as all these are names of securities).
Obviously, doing this (the intuitive thing, for me anyway!)
But this doesn't work. Can you help me please?

You're close... just using some incorrect syntax for the search. Try this:
Search for:
(\d{1,})/(\d{2})/(\d{2})
Replace with:
$2.$1.20$3
I'm sure there are other solutions, but this quick and dirty solution may be helpful.

Thanks a lot for your answer Paul, but this does not work either... I still get "Find complete: no matches found"

Did you use the expression I provided or just make the change Jerzy suggested? I ask because he missed that you also didn't use the correct syntax for the number. You need the backslash before the d.

My bad, I'm blind today. All d must be preceded by a backslash in the expression.
So it must look as Paul suggests.
