Multiterm 2019 cannot recognise termbases created in Multiterm 2015

I have Trados 2019 running on Windows 10. have recently installed Multiterm 2019. All my existing term bases were created using Multiterm 2015.  I open Trados and click on "termbases", go to the folder where I have stored all my termbases, but the program does not recognise them. All my existing termbases have the extension .mdf, and appear as two separate files, one for each language, for example "general dictionary-English.mdf" and "general dictionary-Spanish.mdf"

How can I resolve this problem

    Jennifer, your termbases have the extension .sdltb and those are the only files you need to be concerned about and which you can open with ANY version of MultiTerm. For instance, if you created a termbase with MultiTerm 2015, you certainly can open it with MultiTem 2019, 2021, 2022, 2024, etc. It's the same format.

    Those .mdf and .mtf files are just auxiliary or support files that enhance the functionality of the termbase and have nothing to do with the actual content of the termbase.
