Dear colleages! My question is related to the shared use and modification of the same termbase (7-10 users at a time). It works slowly (search) and only the first user who opens the file seems to have authorization to update it. Is there any option or configuration to improve the database performance and make it available to all team users?
If this is a desktop termbase you are sharing across a shared network then the simple answer is no. The SDLTB is a single user database and restrictions are deliberately in place to prevent corruption of the file.
If you want to share termbases in this way you should use an appropriate solution... these days it would be the terminology that comes as part of Language Cloud.
Perhaps you can confirm what you are doing exactly and then we can offer the appropriate advice.

Thanks for you for responding so quickly, Paul! Our translation team uses a local server, and all our translation memories and the recently-created SDLTB are there. Please, explain all available options, since many hours have been invested in the creation of the TB and we really need the tool since we manage a lot of technical terminology in 5 languages (railway industry).

We do offer a solution if you have MultiTerm Server available with a GroupShare on premise solution, but I think Language Cloud is a better place to start.

Paul, thanks for your patience with the issue. We have already requested information on the GroupShare options and price from our local provider (I am not sure whether the cloud-based solution is OK with our corporate cybersecurity policy).
I´ve just watched the video you recommended, and I see there is an option that allows to import an existing single-user termbase to a cloud-based one. The decision is anyway on the company (groupshare or cloud), the priority goal is to make a 14 000-term TB available to my colleagues asap....
