Is there a way to add a field to all terms in one termbase?

I have an Excel termlist file, and I want to convert it to a sdltb. Also I want all terms in this sdltb have a same note to tell the translator how to use these terms. (Ex. button name)

I know how to do it in MultiTerms one by one, but I don't know if there is a way to add field for all terms in one termbase?

  • Hi Walter,

    Thanks for the reply.

I did try to use glossary converter before, but I didn't get what I excpected.

As on the pic below, Termbase 1 is what I wanted, with description  such as "Normal text" or "Button", but I don't know how to creat a sdltb like this from an Excel file.

Termbase is what I get by using Glossary Converter, it did record all the terms, but my note infomation was lost in this case.

Screenshot of Trados Studio's Term Recognition panel showing two termbases. Termbase 1 has entries with descriptions like 'Normal text' and 'Button'. Termbase 2, created with Glossary Converter, lacks these descriptions.
