Updating a term base from an Excel glossary (Multiterm)

Question

Hello, 
 Sorry if this has been asked before, I've tried looking in the forums but couldn't find anything. 
 I am wondering of there is a way to update an existing term base from a mtf.xml file in Multiterm? 
 What I would like is not simply to import the new terms, but match the import file data with the term base data (which means deleting the terms in the term base which do not appear in the new mtf.xml file). As far as I understand, the Import option in Multiterm simply adds the new terms? 
 For context what I am doing currently is quite time consuming: I'm creating a new term base each time I make changes in my original Excel glossary. 
 Any ideas?

 It may be that you just need to reorganise after the import is complete. For example, I created a small TB with 10 terms from an Excel spreadsheet. I then added another 10 terms to the spreadsheet and created a multiterm XML file from it. I imported, synchronising on term: 
 
 That left me with 30 terms as it duplicated my initial 10 terms. So then I reorganised: 
 
 That fixed it and now I have 20 terms. 
 If your Master is an Excel Glossary then you could also use the Glossary Converter. This is fast and very easy, and it has the additional benefit of not overwriting your original. Just use the merge option with these settings for example: 
 
 So I could merge the original termbase, or two spreadsheets as I see fit, to create a new merged termbase without duplicates. Just a drag, drop and click.
