Issue with Term Recognition in Trados Studio 2021 16.1.8.4404 probably after installing Windows 11

Hi,

I'm using MultiTerm 2021 SR1 16.1.1.541. In Trados Studio 2021, Termbase Search works, but Term Recognition doesn't work anymore. I don't have the problem with Trados Studio 2017.

I suspect it's due to Windows 11 upgrading.

What can I do?

I've tried to reorganize MultiTerm and I've also repaired MultiTerm and Studio.

What can I do next?

Thank you for your help,

Mathilde

  • Same here. To be honest, my impression is that Studio 2021 is a complete disaster in terms of stability and reliability.

It is only after I upgraded to Studio 2021 that I started experiencing a whole bunch of bugs: Term Recognition stops working from time to time, Add a new term (Ctrl+F2) functionality stops working from time to time, and Studio crashes when I use TMs generated in Align Factory (which was NOT the case with Studio 2019).

I wish I could roll back to Studio 2019, and yet the updated license key does not allow to activate the previous version.
