Error when creating a new database

Hallo

I am trying to create a new database in Multiterm, but I am expering the same error over and over again at the end of the process. I have tried to create it from scratch or to use an existing database as model (as I usually do), but the message persists.

Error dialog box with a red cross icon displaying the message 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.' with an OK button.

When I try to open the database, I get this error message

Error dialog box with a red cross icon displaying the message 'There was a problem opening the termbase at C:UsersFrancesca ZanetteDocumentsTranslation 2021Corso LADChecklist.tbx. Check that this is a valid termbase and that you have permission to access it.' with Yes and No buttons.

I have used the "repair" procedure from Control Panel, but to no avail.

Anybody could help please?

Thank you

Francesca Zanette

  • This is very bizarre, it is as if Multiterm was not recognizing me anylonger.

    I have restarted my PC.

I have started Multiterm as Administrator with the right click (although I have never done this before, as it was not required) but when I try to modify a database structure I cannot see the tree in the Termbase Management window. Any idea what am I doing wrong?

Could you please help, as I am really in need to use it.

    Thank you!
