Managing fonts in Termbase Viewer impossible

Screenshot of MultiTerm software with a visible error icon in the 'Default layout' dropdown menu. The TermBase Viewer is open with an entry ID 4204 displayed.

Any idea to solve this issue. Only happens here.

I am using a surface laptop 13.5 inches (2256 x 1504} screen

  • OK, the ex-computer geek in me found a solution, I believe. Slight smile

    (Windows only)

    1. Right-click on your SDL Multiterm 20xx Desktop and select Open File Location
    2. Right-click on the program shortcut and select Properties
    3. Click the Compatibility tab
    4. Click the button Change High DPI settings
    5. Enable the checkbox Override High DPI scaling behavior
    6. Choose System (Enhanced) in the drop-down list below. Maybe the other value System works too, haven’t tried.

SDL MultiTerm 2021 Desktop High DPI Properties window with Compatibility tab open, showing settings with 'Change high DPI settings' button highlighted.High DPI scaling override section in SDL MultiTerm 2021 properties with 'Override high DPI scaling behavior' checked and 'System (Enhanced)' selected.

    Result:

    before after
SDL MultiTerm interface before DPI settings adjustment, showing blurry and hard to read text in the term base entries. SDL MultiTerm interface after DPI settings adjustment, displaying clear and legible text in the term base entries.
