Export / Import Terms with IDs for interchange with another system

Question

I want to export and import Terms (tbx) with their Term-IDs. Or over another way, that allows me to change the content outside of MultiTerm and import this modified file again. Is that possible?

Hi Jan Grüter , have you tried any way yet, and how complex is your termbase? It may be that your easiest way is to use the Glossary Converter and convert to Excel, make your edits and convert it back. With fairly straightforward termbases this is probably your best way, but if your termbase is much more complex then can you advise what software you wanted to use to edit it?

Hi Jan Grüter no this isn't possible because you are describing the way MultiTerm handles synonyms. If there is always a 1:2:1 relationship between your terms then you probably need to add them as new entries and not synonyms and this way you will always get an entry ID.
