Hello. A few days ago, I started getting a notification in Trados teling me to Update the Language Weaver plugin. I click on the "Update plugin" button and every time I get the following message: Download failed for Language Weaver. Does anyone know why it's doing that? I use Trados Studio 2021 Freelance. Thank you.

Language Weaver specifically is a different problem. This problem is related to the number of breaking changes we have seen in Trados Studio that meant we needed multiple releases just for different versions of Trados Studio 2022. To fix this this is going to require an update to Trados Studio, so the problem will not be fixed for a while. I think we could resolve it temporarily by removing all other versions of the plugin for 2022 other than the most recent one so I think we will do this and we can make the others available in the wiki.
Can you confirm it's just the Language Weaver plugin you're having problems with?

Unfortunately not. The problem with LW plugin was fixed by installation through the appstore.
I still have problem with MT Enhanced plugin that keeps disconnecting (I've already posted this here). This keeps happening in a random short cycles.
Studio 2019 was often crashing out of blue so I was hoping that Studio 2021 will be free of this problem. Well, it is somewhat better - I had only few crashes so far (but I have no idea why it happens). Thankfully no translation was ever lost.
I'm asking about the problem related to this thread, not problems you are having technically with a plugin or older versions of Trados Studio.
You might be interested to know we will probably remove MT Enhanced from the appstore altogether for the 2022 version shortly as we have separated Google and Microsoft. Now we will have two separate, and improved, plugins for these providers. They will only be available for 2022 but if you get around to upgrading or want to test the trial with them they might be worth watching out for.
