What happens if you use SDL Language Cloud?  The NMT comes from the same place.

Thanks Paul - will try it tomorrow, but why does the NMT not work after all the hype about how marvellous it is supposed to be? 

Good morning - I was able to install the SDL Language Cloud, but ONLY from the "AnyTM: Any other translation provider" function, which then worked appropriately to assist with translation of the project. It could not be installed from the title outside the AnyTM function. This is not how these translation memories are supposed to work, and particularly with the super-modern SDL Machine Translation Cloud Provider. Is there a software problem that needs to be resolved, or is there a problem at my end? Your comments will be appreciated, as always, with thanks.

Have you populated your language pairs here?

Have you also set a default language pair here:

Just trying to isolate the problem.  Something has changed, probably due to the relaxation of the five languages for Freelance since you now start off without any languages at all since you can choose any.

We do need to fix this but perhaps this will resolve your problem?

Yes to both questions - I populated this list after our last discussion ten days ago. At least I have been able to activate SDL Language Cloud, at least temporarily, but this is not the way the NMT is supposed to work. Your further comments will always be appreciated.

The problem is definitely Studio 2021 and will need to be resolved in a future update.  But if using AnyTM gets around whatever we have changed then that's good to know at least.

True, but the "modern" NMT Still doesn't ..work. Hope they can find a solution.
