Hi there, I just tried the OneClickExecutable file, and while it seems to remove the <br> code when preceded by a LF-return, it does not seem to remove the <br> code when there is no LF in front...

This is further supported by the fact that the sample file I provided has 183 instances of the <br> code, but the exe file only processes 114.

I am afraid I do not understand AHK at all :-( Any chance you could see if you can update the exe for me?

found the reason
a paragraph which has several sentences/segments and the mystery "<br>" is in the middle of it (of course in itself, it is placed at the end of its own segment though).
should be fixed in a minute.

I did just use the .exe. But when it don't quite do what I had expected, I opened the .AHK file in a text editor to see if I could make any changes myself, but I quickly closed it again without making any changes as it looked too technical for me.

you just find the target folder, in your case "ro-Ro"
this code fixes ".sdlxliff"s which has "<br>" within it only.
everything else is untouched.
