the best way is to open the .sdlxliff using memoQ, there you can select confirm all by pressing ctrl+shift+A, then you can confirm all segments, save, then open using SDL Studio.. You can filter segments, then confirm or unconfirm, lock or unlock

At least two reasons why this isn't a good idea at all:

1. It has nothing to do with the problem described which relates to all segments becoming confirmed by mistake

2. Purchase another piece of software just to do this?

The problem described here is a pretty rare occurrence anyway and seemed to have been related to an inadvertent keyboard action.  There has never been a distinct bug to fix here.
