Fortunately pub2xml isn't version dependent.  It's a standalone tool that just creates an xml you can translate in any version of Studio.  So you can find it in the integrated appstore for 2021 or 2022... exactly the same installer as for all versions.  Hopefully that's what you needed?

I am wondering if the Pub2XML App can be used in Studio 2024 (is it therefore also version independent going forward, i.e. Studio 2024)? Has this App not been updated for use with Studio 2024, as I cannot find it when searching via the integrated AppStore of Studio 2024.

Try again... we forgot to increase the version support.  It is exactly the same tool as before, and now you'll find it in 2024 as well.

Hi Paul, when trying to import the Settings file (this one: pub2xml_v2.1.sdlftsettings), Studio 2024 is "...unable to find the file type with ID pub2xml_v2.1." after following route File --> Options --> Filetypes.

I have extracted the content of the zip file in the default location where the App downloads to - so, I'm pretty much stuck here. Any advice, or is something amiss with the content of the App?

To be honest I forgot about that!  But it's so simple you can create your own so don't let that stop you.

So just create a new one with the newer filetypes... shouldn't take too long.  When I get a few mins I'll update the zip with settings files for the newer formats.

If you download the zip again I have added a filetype settings file for XML2 which will work in 2024.
