How are new files detected during the update of an existing Passolo project?

The source files for my lpu project are made available in an exchange folder on a server. The files in this exchange folder are updated on a regular basis, which means the content of the files is revised, files are deleted, and files are added during software development.  When I update the text lists in my Passolo project, I can recognize changes made to the content of the files but how can I see whether new files have been added? Do I have to add new files manually to the project via the project settings? And will source files that are deleted from the exchange folder be removed automatically from the project?

    The process of updating files strongly depends on the workflow and your project setup. In many cases clients have automated this process on their build server. If the regular updates doesn’t happen on a daily basis many users are performing it manually. Using specific functions in the UI you are able to detect if files are deleted from the exchange folder, which then can be deleted from the project. After that you can add new files and using internal function you will be able to find and easily select all the files that were added to the exchange folder.
