Is there a string length limit in resx files?

I have one string in a resx file that is very long in English. It is even longer in some other languages, and is getting truncated. Is the truncation a limitation of resx files, or of Passolo?

    Support and development did some more tests with the actual version (2016 CU5) and correctly processed RESX files with entries up to 3 million characters. When editing the text entry in Passolo there is a limit of 99,999 characters which is coming from the Microsoft RichEdit control that is used to edit the entry.

    Can you please send more information about your case. Which version are you using and can you provide me with the RESX files that are causing the issue on your end.
