Is it possible to check for additional spaces between words (i.e. not at the beginning or end) with the check routine?

Hello, 
 my issue is that I keep discovering double spaces between words from time to time and there seems to be no option in the check rountine for finding such double spaces between words or between a full-stop and the following sentence. I know one can check for additional spaces at the beggining and end of a string, but have I missed a function where you can check for the spaces within a string?

Such a checking function is not available out of the box, but I think it can easily be done using an Inline Pattern check.
