Dear Achim, 

This is weird. I have the Blank icon only in that list (Control Center). The list contains validated and pre-translated strings only. This is the case in the other ones as well. However, the other list have a Pen icon.

Is there another reason for this difference?

This cannot be answered without a more detailed analysis of the project. If the status icons are not comprehensible due to the content, I would recommend logging a case in the support portal https://gateway.sdl.com.
