Access to Passolo 2018 after purchasing Passolo 2022 license - is that possible?

Hello,

We are planning to upgrade from Passolo 2016 Team Edition to a newer Passolo version.
The majority of our clients are using Passolo 2018.

Can you please advise if it is better to purchase Passolo 2022 license or it is better to have Passolo 2018 license?
Is it possible to use Passolo 2018 projects with Passolo 2022 without upgrading them?

Is there a way to use Passolo 2018 and Passolo 2022 at the same time?

Best regards,

Dimmo

  • Hello,

Passolo 2022 activated allows you to also run Passolo 2018 so its better to use 2022.

LPU projects can only be upgraded to the newer version to work with them. From 2018 version to 2022 for example. After upgrade you cannot use them in Passolo 2018.

A single user license does not allow you to run multiple instances of Passolo. Only a network licenses with multiple seats works.

As mentioned in first sentence you can have both Passolo 2022 and 2018 installed on the same machine and set the Passolo 2018 to use the license from 2022 to keep working on 2018 projects.

    Hope this helps.
