Add-in connection between Passolo and Studio does not work

Hello,

I have seen that this problem was posted on this forum in the past and it was solved for some users (e.g. community.sdl.com/.../6450). I tried the suggested solution myself, but with no success. I am wondering why the solution does not work for me. Even after specifying the path to the Trados Studio installation in the settings .xml file, no connection between Passolo and Trados Studio is established. Passolo does not find anything from the Studio TM nor Studio TM is updated. What can it be the cause?

 

My environment:

Passolo Translator Edition 2016

Trados Studio 2015

    Hi Satoe,

    If you correctly specified the path, there might be an discrepancy between the sub languages of the Passolo bundle and your TM. The following might help solve the issue:

    Go to your Translation Memory Setup screen:

    Tools > Add-ins >  Translation > SDL Trados Studio. Select Setup. Select the language combination and enable Accept translation memories that only match the general language pair

    Also check your settings in Options to ensure all TMs are enabled for Concordance, Fuzzy matchting, Pre-translation etc.
