Multiterm Desktop & Additional Viewer CAL - LSP

Question

Hi, 
 my company bought MultiTerm Desktop licences and Additionnal Viewer CAL. The goal is to provide a temporary access for our freelancers that do not use Studio to our Term bases (MultiTerm) 
 &bull; Ideally, it would be necessary to send the freelancer an automatically generated link that would give him / her limited read-only access to the terminology database associated with his / her project. The link should only be active for the duration of the project, to prevent the freelancer from consulting our databases for purposes other than those foreseen. 
 &bull; It should also be possible to know in real time which freelancers are using our bases. 
 &bull; We also need to be able to disconnect freelancers from the Term base as needed. 
 Is it possible? 
 FYI : we use Studio and Groupshare 2015.

in Multiterm Administrator you can see which user is connected, you can also disconnect users. 
 
In GS 2015 you cannot define an expiry for licenses, would be interesting to know if this is a planned feature for GS 2017.

Hi Val&eacute;rie, While there's currently no way to give time limited access to a termbase which will automatically revoke access to a termbase, you can manually remove permissions if needed. Users can be setup to only have read-only access to termbases if needed. Additionally you can also use MultiTerm Online to give access through the browser without needing to install MultiTerm on their machines. As mentioned in another thread, User Management iss an area I'm keen to improve. Thanks, Luis
