Project name already in use on this server

HI everyone

We have several machines in our office to work on GroupShare 2020. Now, I ran into an issue when any machine trying to publish a project to our GroupShare server gets a message 'project name already in use on this server', when there is obviously no such project on this server. The issue wasn't present two days ago.

Has anyone had similar issues? What can be the reason and/or solution?

    Hello,

    Is it the same project name or different ones that you try to publish and they fail?

    If it is a specific project name it could be that and attempt to publish happened before , but it was done so incorrectly and information related to it remains on the server. In this situation using a different project name would be the easiest option, with the other one being to clear the project name from SQL tables.


    If it fails to publish regardless of name, then that sounds like a compatibility or installation problem and it would be advisable to raise it further with support to investigate further.
