Empty project TM

Question

While working with the latest versions of Trados 2017 and 2019, project TM created out of Groupshare 2015 TM turns out to be empty. We mean operation "Populate project translation memories". At the same time it is impossible to use older revisions of Trados 2017 and 2019 due to occurring errors in the file names that contain umlauts, Cyrillic characters etc.
We ask you to fix for the latest versions of Trados 2017 and 2019 so that it is possible to create a working TM out of Groupshare 2015 TM and not an empty one.

Solution found: replace library Sdl.ProjectApi.AutomaticTasks.ProjectTm.dll in latest version of Trados 2017 with this library from Trados 2017 14.1.10014.38031(CU14)

Hi Peter and Sergey, Thank you both for your notes on this post. This behavior is actually a defect sent to SDL Dev team. ID for this is CRQ-13920. We are not aware of this workaround and to be honest I don't believe it should cause other issues; it is a *.dll meant to be userd for Project TM tasks. Moving forward, I suggest you raise this with SDL Support and they can test and confirm this. I hope this helps.
