Kicked off my Trados Studio 2022 licence

Hi 
 
 I recently returned to Trados after some time not using my licence. 
 When I tried to log in, I was able to restore my licence and have been using Trados daily for a fortnight with no problems. The only anomaly was that, when I managed to log in to my account, I was told that I had a free upgrade from Trados 2021 to Trados 2022, which seems to have been processed. 
 Then today, in the middle of a project, I received a message saying "licence expired" and Trados shut down. 
 My account says I have a perpetual licence with no expiry date. 
 It seems that I have to 'Activate my account', but I have no idea of the installation code needed to do this. 
 Please help!

Hi Elizabeth Frizell . 
 Which version of Trados were you using? 
 If it is Trados 2021 - it is normal to not be able to use it anymore because once you process an upgrade the activation code generated is for the edition you upgraded to, in your case Trados 2022. 
 If you installed Trados 2022 and did not activate it, then you need to do that. 
 If you go to your RWS Account https://oos.sdl.com/asp/products/ssl/account/mylicenses/licenses.aspx - here in licenses, you can see an alphanumeric code above the name of the product, that is the activation code. Please do not share it here or with anybody else. 
 You are also going to see that the license is Available, which means you can now activate Trados 2022 
 
 If you did not install it, please do so - download Trados 2022 from the Downloads in your RWS Account - install and then activate it, you can see in the video below how to activate:

 After that, you can open and work on files and projects in Trados 2022.
