If the license was reset, this means you need to activate it on the new computer - not deactivate it on the old one.

There's no longer a need to deactivate it on the old computer since it was reset - reset means returning it to Available state, bypassing the deactivation process.

You should now just activate it on the new computer, which from what I see, you already did.

Thank you, Anca. No, this is what I meant. The license is still in the old computer and I cannot deactivate it and activate it in the new PC.

But the license was reset already once by the technical support. and it appears as you activated it today - did you activate it again on the old computer?

No, in fact I tried to deactivate it but it failed as indicated. Now it is still in the old computer.

Just a note for future reference, when a license is reset - there is no need for a deactivation. A reset returns the license to Available mode so what you need to do next is to activate it on the new device.

I cannot verify what exactly you did, but somehow you activated it today, as the Activation date is always registered in the system.

I will open a new case with the technical team to reset it, but please do not try to do anything else on the old computer after this. The technical team does not follow community posts, so after I open the new case and they contact you via email, please reply to the technical team and let them know if all is ok or if you encounter an issue at activating it on the new computer.

The error in question on the old one might be related to the license being already reset by the tech team.

When the license was reset yesterday my first try was to Activate it on the new computer but it failed again. And on my new computer the license was ready for use without doing anything on my side. It was today that I try to start over again by Deactivating it on the old computer.

Somehow the info stated on your side does not match the info I see on my PCs. Does this make any sense?

I confirm I am not touching anything and that I am working on the program on the old computer right now on a project.
