When trying to install Trados Studio on a new computer, I receive the above message and the installation fails. Please help me urgently as I have to complete my translation projects quickly and cannot do this in my old computer since it was broken.

Go to C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\Dependencies and install the necessary dependancy from there. Then change there to the folder of your Studio version and run the setup.exe from there.

where - on the old computer, or on the new computer ??? I failed to transpose STUDIO to the new computer and returned it back to the old. So what do I do now
NO - it says it can harm yoour computer, so I am not going to do any such thing. PLease help me to transfer the Studio to a new computer
Who says that? Please install Studio on your new PC and use the dependancy from the path I've given you, also on new computer.

Have you installed the vcredist_x86.exe from the path I gave you? And have you started the setup from the another path?
But left that alone, it looks like your antivirus is playing games with you. Deactivate your antivirus software and install Studio. Then reactivate the antivirus software.

I will try to do that tomorrow as I need my IT friend to help me, to deactivate the licence on one computer and active on the new computer. I dont know how to do that myself. I will pass all those messages to him tomorrow.
