Using DeepL glossaries in the Cloud

We are currently using Trados Team and cannot find a way to add a DeepL glossary.

Is there a way to directly add a glossary like in Trados Studio?

Having the machine-generated translation without using the terms in the glossary is not very useful for us.

  • Hello Johanna,

In Trados Team, DeepL glossary support is different compared to Trados Studio. Currently, DeepL glossaries cannot be added directly in the same way as in Trados Studio.

For consistent terminology in Trados Team, you can use Trados Termbases/Terminology resources and connect them to your project. This helps translators maintain preferred terms during translation.

If you need DeepL-specific glossary functionality, Trados Studio with the DeepL provider may still be the better option because it supports direct glossary selection.

It would also be useful to check with RWS support whether DeepL glossary integration is planned for future Trados Team updates.
