Trados Business Manager – End of Life Announcement

Trados Business Manager (TBM) has reached end of life. Following the discontinuation of TBM sales on 31 October 2023, all maintenance and support services will conclude on 31 October 2024.
What Does This Mean for TBM Users?

  • End of Services: RWS will no longer provide any services related to the installation or updating of TBM.
  • Existing Installations: TBM will remain functional where already installed, but the RWS support team will not offer assistance in troubleshooting issues, addressing reported problems, or providing further development for TBM.
  • Documentation: The TBM documentation has been removed from docs.rws.com.
  • Community Support: The community forum for TBM will remain accessible in a read-only format for users to reference if needed.

Invoice Creation

Hello, we are having a problem with the invoice creation. When an invoice is long enough to go onto the second page, there is often a blank page that appears between the two invoices page. We are unsure as to how easiest to fix this problem, as saving the invoices as a Word document to edit renders the formatting nearly unusable. If you could offer a solution on how best to fix this we would greatly appreciate it.

    Hi Ana,

    Report designer in TBM has necessary tools to avoid this issue. But I need few clarifications from you. Which template you use? Some of default one or custom one? If custom, can you please export it from the designer, pack into zip file and attach here. I may have a look and point oit which properties to change to avoid white spaces. If default one, we can adjust it in the next update.

    Also, for this long invoice, can you try to print it using different default templates? The problem appears in all of them?
