Hello all -
Odd situation. Our Helvetica Regular and Helvetica Oblique fonts don't display on the XPP screen, but they show up when we print to PDF. The Helvetica Bold and Helvetica Black font variants from the same font family show up with no problem.
The fonts (that don't display) act as if they were set to print white (or "cancel flash" as in old phototypesetting systems). There are no composition errors and the cursor moves along the line as if the characters were there, but they just don't display.
When I print the page to PDF and then open the PDF, the characters are there (in black). I tried setting the non-displaying characters to red or green, but still no display. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? We have lots of other fonts and everything displays without problem except these few Helvetica fonts. I've reloaded the fonts, rebuilt the FASTs... but no luck so far.
