AcronymPlacer
This app will enable user to get full extended names of all acronyms used all around the world. Basically, when the app recognizes the WHO in source text, it will enable the user to use "World Health Organization" as in AutoSuggest Mode thereby reducing the time the translator spend for finding the meanings of all acronyms.
Term Analysis
Evaluate a specific file or group of files from studio against 1 or more Termbases (preferably with connection with Multiterm server) to know how many terms existing in the database actually exist in that file or group of Studio files. This analysis could also allow us to have the percentage of similarity of each found term agains the terms in the mentioned Studio files or group of files (as we can find in the options for Termbases in Studio - Project settings - Language pairs - Termbases Search settings - Minimum match value). This will allow us to understand how usefull a specific Termbase would be in a project or Potential project (quotation) and would allow us to plan Terminology extraction and management process in advance and also price it along with the project
Online remote working
This trados app would allow me to connect to my workstation trados, and continue to work on my cellphone. So when ever i m, i have the facility to edit or finish my work. Of course, the function of multiterm and translation memory would be difficult to realize but that's fine. I could perform it at workstation, but this is a real connection from cellphone and trados.
