SDL Ideas
We would love to hear your ideas on how to improve our technologies for enhanced user experience, feature functionality and efficiencies.
To participate simply submit your idea and sit back as your peers in SDL Community vote for the one they think is most needed. Should you feel particularly passionate about an idea please add comments or urge your friends and colleagues to vote.

We do ask that you take a moment to search your idea prior to submitting, to check that it does not already exist.
Make your idea stand out!
When you select to create a new idea, there are a few things you can do to ensure SDL Development and other community participants understand the idea. This will not only allow for more in depth conversation, should it be required, but a more well-formed idea will potentially result in increased voting. And although it is not mandatory please make fill out your profile so we get some background on who you are.

Please elaborate on and explain the idea as much as possible.
Reported release:
What release of the product are you using (i.e. 12.1.3, 12.2.4)? Your suggested idea could already be implemented in a later version and/or helps us understand the current feature and functionality you receive and this is proving challenging.
Screen shots:
One picture is worth a thousand words. Imagine what several screen shots and/or mock-ups could tell us?!
Business process:
Describe your business process. This is important as it helps our developers visualize how your suggested idea address your real world pain points around process, time efficiencies, tracking/monitoring, version control, departmental transitions etc.
Gap and benefits:
Tell us what impact this will have on your process and/or finished result and what the benefit(s) is anticipated to be. Please be specific around the positive contributions this will have i.e. this will save 5 minutes each time I …In one day I undertake this activity … times therefore provide overall time savings of ….
We look forward to receiving your idea submissions, votes and comments . There is no limit to how many times you submit a unique idea so please tell us how we should transforming your technologies! All submitted ideas will be reviewed and monitored by SDL Product Management teams. The number of votes, replies and the status of the idea after submission are all visible in the idea header.
