Query folder improvement to be able to specify language level metadata

We are using the initial version of Tridion Docs 14. When creating a query folder, TD14 accepts only logical level of metadata in query description. This limits range of use a query folder. In addition, the syntax of query folder is too difficult to understand for typical users. If Tridion Docs is improved to accept any level of metadata and to be able to set the query using GUI that is easy to use, a query folder will be usefully a lot.

  • Hi Naoki, thank you for posting this idea! While we are not considering updating the query folders, partly for the reasons you describe, we are however working on the core Content Manager search functionality that will allow us to provide better ways to quickly list out specific content in the future.
