Make it possible to modify repository read and write (owner) permissions

Modifying folder permissions afterwards is not possible.
Is not allowed to move structures to folders with less read rights. But once everyone is allowed to view, it is not possible to modify it.
Because of this, reorganizing a repository is almost impossible.

  • This.  No organization knows the perfect folder organization structure up front when adopting component content management systems, and few organizations go more than a year or two without reorgs or ownership changes of content.  Even archiving folders of assets to go from "write" to "read only" for a particular group becomes a huge chore.
