I fully agree with this suggestion. The amount of mails we receive is way too high. I also think that message templates should be available, so wen can add our own information to the mails.

User should also be able to customize what alerts they receive. Currently our team members are being bombarded with emails about other people taking tasks, due dates approaching, etc. and as a result, important emails (such as being assigned tasks) are being lost in the soup. Members can manage their own calendars, so they don't need to receive reminders. Ideally, these mails should also have customizable subject lines, since mail after mail titled "Trados Team" makes them hard to distinguish at a glance. 

I also agree with this idea, it would be very useful.

In addition to this, we also need a message template in the language in the UI and the ability to customize it.
