Export to Excel: Deactivate segment highlighting colours in exported Excel files

There doesn't seem to be any way to deactivate the segment highlighting colours in these exported files. I like to send these Excel files to my clients, but not with a bunch of unexplained highlighting colours in them. 

Incidentally, where can I find a list of what all the colours actually mean?
