TE Terminology currently only supports merging entries based on entry ID. This does not align with Canon’s terminology management workflow, where newly translated terms (e.g. Greek) are received without clarity on whether corresponding source terms already exist in the termbase. In MultiTerm Online, this was addressed using a custom import definition that allowed merging based on the English source term. In TE, current workarounds are manual, time-consuming, and prone to error (e.g. copy-paste processes).

Request: Enable merging during import based on a specified language (e.g. English source term).
