Hi,
I've noticed that every time I upgrade my Trados' Add-In, its settings are deleted.
This is quite annoying, because one of the settings is the license code, and I don't want the user to re-enter it every time he upgrades the Add-In.
Is there any way to persist the settings?

Can you write the settings to another location? Some of our apps write them to a folder in here:
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL Community\
Another here:
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Qualitivity\
So I guess if you create your own location here you can write to it and save them from getting lost in the plugin upgrade. They can even be excrypted if you need to for licensning requirements for example. Romulus Crisan (former member) used an encrypted JSON file for one of the apps which you can find source code for here... that may be helpful.
