Speed of running project creation changes from time to time

Hello , would you mind if you answer my question?

 We have created an application that can creates Trados project. The speed of project creation is related to word count and the size of Translation Memory. I notice that, in some runs, the speed will decreasing by 1/3 or 1/4 or even lower. Sometimes happens when 2 threads runs together.I read the post Multiple Project creation in parallel , Is my understand from "queuing" true: we better not to run multiple Thread of "Trados project creation" in parallel? and only one should be run at a time?

Is it true?

I even saw this drastic decrease in speed in ordinary running (1 thread running)  I cannot reproduce it again because of unknown situation which that happens, Is it because of activity of HDD or CPU caused by other process of the OS? Is Trados process, specially 2 long running Automatic Tasks ("Analyse Task" and "Convert to Translatable Task")  vulnerable to lost consideration?

    Yes, I believe in general that is true. Trados Studio is a desktop application and not built for that type of use.

    That would contribute to the slow down, but as I mentioned above, Trados Studio is not designed to handle such tasks.

    Is Trados process, specially 2 long running Automatic Tasks ("Analyse Task" and "Convert to Translatable Task") vulnerable to lost consideration?

    The only way to find out is to try it and see. I would recommend running each task in a separate Trados Studio process to avoid the issue.

    Hi , and thank you for your replay.
    I Identify the source of drastic change in speed. since what was high during the process was HDD activity , and for the second run it became very faster, I Identify it`s Window's cache and Superfetch that is responsible for this speed change ; while the speed is constant in my other computer having SSD disk.
    We had to go for a solution to cache it all the time or change to SSD Disk.
