We investigated and it seems that is an issue on our side with the id exposed on List Termbase Entry endpoint.  We've created an item to fix that. Will update here when will be released.

it seems that some change was implemented, because I don't receive any information about creator / modifier user, only the timestamp.

I use values like this in the "fields" url get parameter: 

lastModifiedBy,lastModifiedBy.email,lastModifiedBy.firstName,lastModifiedBy.lastName,lastModifiedBy.anonymized,lastModifiedBy.anonymizedUserName,lastModifiedBy.id

but the response does not contain anything related, though, the same information is visible in the web UI, so the entry has these fields.

Do I reference the wrong fields maybe?

Can you please provide an example with what you see in the web UI and what you receive for the same entry using the API request?

Can you confirm that now the user ID retrieved matches a known ID?

Hi,

Could you please attach a traceId for Get Termbase Entries call. 

If a termbase entry have been created or modified by a service user, we specify also in our documentation that the email, firstName and lastName are not returned.

Except for these three, do you need other fields from the User model?

I just performed a call, the trace id is xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

I just checked the user endpoint as well (https://languagecloud.sdl.com/lc/api-docs/4df8c4391ccaa-get-user) there I also cannot retrieve details about any user as a service user. Hmm, does this mean that thorugh the public rest API, I cannot query private information about users (name, e-mail)? Or can I authenticate somehow with an RWS ID? 

The documentation (https://languagecloud.sdl.com/lc/api-docs/service-users-and-custom-applications) writes only about authenticating as a service user at least.

Hello,

The email/firstName/lastName of a service user will not be returned also on get user endpoint. It is not about the user that you are performing these calls, but the user expected as result. So if you ask for these fields and the result would be a service user, these will not be returned. 

We can plan a change to add the name of service user (single field, not 2 fields firstName + lastName) on User model. Just the name can be added because the service user does not have an email associated. Would be helpful for you?

It seems that we have an issue when one of createdBy or modifiedBy fields is null (n/a in UI), we don't return both of them. I will raise a ticket for it.
