What is the max file size for a post?

Question

I am trying to post a video of a meeting recording but I get an error saying that the max file size has been exceeded. Can somebody tell me what the max file size is for the SDL Community and what is the best way to post a large video?

Hi Octavio, 
 
There are two limits that restrict files that can be uploaded: 
 
Maximum file size - This is a hard limit on the file size that can be uploaded (Default: 20MB) 
Maximum time - This is a limit on the amount of time it can take to upload a file (Default: 5 minutes) 
 
What you could do is upload the video to either Youtube or Vimeo. 
Then paste the link in the place you want it to be. 
 
Another option is to let someone from SDL upload the video in MediaManager and then put it in the right place for you.

 Just for interest, I use youtube a lot for videos. If they shouldn't be public then I can make them private so that only people with the url can see them, or even only specific users can see them. Just depends what you want:
