Hello,

I urgently need help activating my perpetual Trados Studio 2024 Freelance license after migrating my system.

My RWS Account currently shows:
Users: 1 / In use: 1 / Available: 0

I already used Reset License in my RWS Account today (10 August 2026) and waited more than 30 minutes.

I also renamed the local licensing file
C:\ProgramData\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio18\Data\Studio.lic
to Studio.old.lic.

Trados Studio 2024 SR1 now correctly asks for activation. However, when I enter my activation code, activation fails with:

“No licenses are currently available for the specified activation code.”

The license therefore still appears to be registered as “in use” on the RWS licensing server even though the local installation is no longer activated.

Could you please reset/release the license server-side or open a support case for me, so that I can activate Studio again?

I urgently need Trados Studio for my work.
