This year the selection panel had a tough time choosing between the high-quality list of nominations we received, and after some tough discussions finalized the list.

SDL released SDL Web near the end of 2015. Working with Marketing, UX, and R&D, Product Management released this five- (now six-) part blog post series.
After a number of SDL driven events called "Innovate" in London, Amsterdam and San Francisco. We now see the first community driven SDL Web (Tridion + adjacent) in India. Probably August so that is before the 2nd year community driven Tridion Dev Summit in Sept in Amsterdam.
