Error when returning Trados files to Mantra TMS--"Filetype with ID AemXml not found"

Hi Team,

Whenever I am transferring files (after translating them) from Trados Studio to Mantra TMS, I get a message saying that the files verification returned errors. When checking the errors, I see this: "Filetype with ID AemXml not found." It seems to be a warning rather than an error, but still. Am I missing anything?

Also, where/how do I upload the TM used for translating a certain file when transferring the files to Mantra?

TM search capabilities in ManTra

Hello,

As a customer, my team and I would like the ability to filter searches by product TMs that are already established in our ManTra account. Currently, we are only able to search through all the TMs at once. We would like the option to filter by TM in order to reduce the number of search hits.

AEM Integration does not work

We have an integration between our AEM's backend and SDL backend. Even we are sending the right status (submitted) to SDL, Mantra doesnt seem like it received our to-be-translated content? Please, support us from IT perspective?

Pound symbol (£) used in reports in place of local currency

The Total Spend and Total Savings on the Dashboard tab of the "Export My Data" reports display in pounds (£) even if the cost project breakdown on the Costs tab is in local currency, in my case USD. Is there a way to change the pound symbol on the Dashboard to the local currency used by the customer to avoid confusion? Thank you.

Incorporate client QC corrections into ManTra workflow

We use the ManTra portal to submit projects, get quotes, approve quotes, and download project deliverables. After the initial delivery, the internal team proceeds with an internal QC step during which, occasionally, errors to be corrected are identified. With the current process, we send the proofed PDFs with corrections requests via email/FTP to the SDL project management team so that the corrections can be fixed in the source files and the project redelivered. We would like the ability to upload the PDFs with corrections to ManTra to keep the history together with the initial project request and all the deliverables. Can this feature be added in the future?

SDL Mantra Status - Completed Projects

This is a customer enhancement request, but would it be possible to add a status for 'Completed' projects to the 'All Projects' screen in Mantra?

Currently there is no way to find out (or filter on) which projects have been downloaded/completed.

QA Model in Review Interface in ManTra

Is it possible to have QA Model in Review Interface in ManTra?

Or, is there any plan to add it to ManTra?

Currently i cannot see this option avaiable, only TMS allows Score the translation:

QA Model'. Below is a message in red text stating 'QA Model is not available in Review Interface'." />

Translation quality assessment / Reviewer grading is not something we support in ManTra and there are currently no plans to implement this in the future.

Can we filter-out Organization List to display only Organizations where user have granted specific permissions in TMS?

For example i have user created under Level X, have permissions on levels A + B but see everything that is under Level X and below (incl. A+B).

Indeed at the moment if a user is created under X and has permissions for A and B, they'll:

- see the objects they have permissions for under A and B

- see the organisation names in between

They can't see anything else under the orgs they have no permissions for, but they can still see the names. It's not currently possible to avoid this.

A request has been placed with the product team in the past to improve this behaviour. I suggest you open a support ticket for this request as well so the team can look into it.

It is only currently possible to copy the results to the clipboard for a single language at a time. Feel free to suggest an export option via the Ideas section in Community, however, to gauge the level of interest in this feature from other Community members.

Is there's any way to export the TM search result for all target languages selected at once (i.e. copy to clipboard at once for all search results) instead of doing it language by language for each results?

Is there a way to give instructions via Mantra to client reviewers?

For example:

A translation project is created with the following project description: please adhere to length restrictions and do not translate term XYZ.

When the project is sent to the translators, they get a notification with this description and they can also see it online, so they know what to do.

However client reviewers do not get the same information when they get the notification to review a translation, which in turn leads to unnecessary comments.

For example when a term left untranslated by the translator as per the project description, but the client reviewer leaves a comment "please translate". Not only does it create unnecessary work, the client reviewer might perceive the translation to be of low(er) quality.

I guess this would be the current solution. But unfortunately from my experience this is not how Client Reviewers work. They're often people who have other work, their primary job, and review translations on the side. I see that they do not familiarize themselves sufficiently and do not download reference files. Or they only use Mantra so little that they forget functionality. So instead they log in and go right into the review interface and want to get the job done. I believe it would be a much better UX if instructions and background information could be communicated with client reviewers there, right at the top.

MATE or similar broker could automatically add job description as a task comment if it's not used for other purpose, but probably that'd be an overkill if reference materials could do the trick.

Reference files are already available to users via the Client Review interface, so I would agree with Bernd's suggestion on how to approach this.

I do not really agree. You would then need to do that for every target language (and probably multiple tasks, since you cannot be 100% sure what task the reviewer opens first) whereas the instruction is already available in the job description. I would assume that reviewers can download reference material during their review? If yes, we could add a short instruction as reference material. If not, I feel making reference material available for reviewers is something that needs to be supported in a future update.

Perhaps using Task Comment could resolve the issue? It's a global comment for a file and it is visible from Mantra.

Can we grant the access of "TM Lookup" functionality for client reviewers but disable "Apply TM" for them?

Switching from Dashboard to All Projects view is slow

Should it take 20 seconds to switch from Dashboard to All Projects view? I am looking at our main org that is set up in the TMS, which has most of our jobs - 433 "projects". Seems slow to me.

Can you please raise a support ticket in order for this to be investigated? 20 seconds seems slow for this number of projects but lets raise a request with Support for them to investigate and communicate via that channel.

Hi,

has anyone observed the following behaviour when working in ManTra using Internet Explorer? I cannot seem to find anything in other forums such as Jira or Gateway.

When a user opens the Project Details page in ManTra and clicks on either the pdf or Excel icon to download the job quote they get several options from Internet Explorer to either save the quote or open directly. Independent from the option they choose, when downloading the quote the ManTra Project Details screen becomes inactive i.e. it is greyed out and the user needs to refresh the screen by pressing F5 to continue working in ManTra.

This seems to be the case for Internet Explorer only. With Chrome the ManTra screen does not time out or become inaccessible.

Is this a known behaviour?
