Bulk search and replace without changing segment status

Question

Hello all, 
 NMT pre-translations often use the same translation for a word in a document, and this translation might be not appropriate. 
 I would like to be able to make a global search and replace, but also to keep the NMT status of the segment, as this flags I have not worked on the segment yet. 
 Do you know any way to do this?

 Yes, you can perform a global search and replace without changing the segment status in Trados Studio. Here's how you can do it: 
 Step 1: Open your document in Trados Studio. 
 Step 2: Go to the "Review" tab. 
 Step 3: Click on "Search" in the "Search" group. 
 Step 4: In the "Search" dialog box, enter the word you want to replace in the "Search for" field. 
 Step 5: Enter the replacement word in the "Replace with" field. 
 Step 6: Click on "Replace All". This will replace all instances of the word without changing the segment status. 
 Please note that this will only replace the word in the segments and will not update the translation memory. If you want to update the translation memory, you will need to confirm each segment individually.
